Allison Minnich, PhD
Director and Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Prior to founding Chicago Center for Behavioral Health, Dr. Minnich was the Assistant Director of a private group practice in Chicago where she provided individual therapy to clients of all ages and supervised other clinicians on staff. Dr. Minnich received her Ph.D. in Psychological Clinical Science at North Dakota State University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville, IL where she worked in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient hospitalization programs providing individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents and adults presenting with a wide range of psychological disorders. Her research interests focus on developing and testing etiological models of disordered eating behaviors and using these models to inform preventive and intervention efforts. Dr. Minnich has extensive training and experience in treating anxiety and mood-related disorders.
Within the context of empirically supported treatments, I strive to honor each client’s unique story and their individual needs. I believe the role of the therapist is to act as a guide in helping clients work toward living a meaningful life in accordance with their values. Establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is essential to this work. To this end, I view compassion, empathy, genuine regard, respect, and humor as invaluable in the therapeutic process.

Kelly Wynne, LPC
Clinical Therapist
She/Hers
Kelly earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University after working as a journalist for 8 years. She joined Chicago Center for Behavioral Health after completing her internship at SamaraCare Counseling in Naperville where she worked with clients through a trauma-informed and holistic lens.
Kelly has experience working with clients of all ages and is trained to treat a wide variety of disorders, with a focus on post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and mood disorders. She uses empirically-researched behavior therapies including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, as well as humanistic approaches that keep her clients centered in their therapeutic narrative while working toward their full potential. Kelly practices with warmth and passion, and views therapy from an integrative approach uniquely defined by a client’s current needs.
In therapy, I work to “zoom in” on each client’s values, independent from outside expectations. By holding space for each iteration of the therapy process, I welcome clients to show up as they are in each day, mood, or season of life. I strive to champion my clients’ best selves while gently challenging the behaviors that may hold them back from realizing their full potential and unique purpose.
